Mountain lakes, alpine huts and a gorge full of stories – and in the evening the sauna and hot tub with a view. Our family chalet is the starting point for a summer outdoors.
Take the chairlift to the Riesneralm middle station, then walk about 45 minutes via the Finsterkaralm. After a steeper stretch through the forest, soft alpine meadows lead to the quiet mountain lake at 1,808 metres – a place to linger.
Return trip: approx. 5.8 km · 2.5 hrs · 380 m ascent · moderate. Prefer to skip the lift? From Christerbauer it's about 2.5 hours on foot.
